Barbara Lafaun Craycraft

Barbara LaFaun Johns Craycraft, 82, widow of Robert Clay Craycraft, passed away Monday, December 18, 2023, at her home on Linden Lane in Nicholasville, Kentucky. She was born in Lexington, Kentucky on June 12, 1941, to the late Herschel Johns, and Josephine Stipe Johns. Barbara worked as an Administrative Assistant for many years. Survivors include a son, Billy Craycraft (Beth), two daughters-in-law, Robin Craycraft and Denise Babcock, grandchildren, Sean Craycraft, Eric Craycraft (Chelsea), Chris Maynard (Samantha), Cameron Craycraft, Rachael Craycraft, and Lily Craycraft, 4 great-grandchildren, Uriah Craycraft, Lennox Craycraft, Colton Maynard, and Madi Maynard, special nieces, Naresa Walden and Kim Ellis. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Joni Elizabeth Craycraft, a son, Robert Clay Craycraft, Jr., a sister, Mary Mardis, and a brother, Billy Mitchell Fain. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, December 22, 2023, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Craig Yates officiating. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery with Grandsons and Friends serving as bearers. Visitation will be on Thursday, December 21, 2023, from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM, at the funeral home.
