Arnold Stinnett

Arnold Stinnett, 88, husband of Mayme Sherrow Stinnett, died November 4, 2010. He was the son of the late Wilmert and Myrtle Davis Stinnett. He was a former employee of Blue Grass Stockyards and Wal-Mart in Nicholasville and was a member of Nicholasville Baptist Church. Additional survivors include two sons and their wives, Stanley Clay and Diane Stinnett and Roy Wesley and Marie Stinnett, six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, a sister, Margie Noel. He was preceded in death by sisters Lorene Burton and Emily Teater, a half sister, Pearl Fain and two half brothers, Marvin and Stratton Stinnett. Services will be 1:30pm Saturday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev.Kenneth Whitehouse. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8pm today. Bearers will be Benny Riddell, Benji Riddell, Mark Noel, Davis Noel, Ronnie Burton and Danny Patton. Honorary bearers will be Rick Staley, Bill Webb, Ben Dye, Todd Mills and Buck Huffman.
