Anna Mcdowell Blackford

Anna McDowell Blackford, 90, widow of Frank Blackford, died May 16, 2017 in Columbus, Ohio. She was born in Jessamine County to the late Annie Hicks McDowell and John McDowell. She is a member of the Nicholasville Christian Church. She is survived by several nieces and nephews, cousins, and special friends Betty Jackson and Tim Rioux. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Kitty Jackson and brother, John McDowell. Funeral services will be held at on Monday, May 22, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at Betts & West Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 11 a.m. 1:30 p.m. at Betts & West Funeral Home in Nicholasville. Paul bearers will be James, Eugene, and Richard Blackford, Ken Watts, Tim Rioux, and David Jackson.
