Ann Farley Combs Peel, 83, wife of Jimmie J. Peel, died Monday morning, January 8, 2024, at her home in Nicholasville, Kentucky. She was born on June 15, 1940, in Jessamine County, Kentucky to the late Elmo Talton and Cleo Adams Combs. Ann retired from Kroger in Nicholasville after many years of service. She is survived by two sons, Tal House and Steve House, a stepdaughter, Jennifer (Paul) Locker, and a sister, Patricia Combs, grandchildren, Kyndall, Logan, and Sarah and step-grandchildren, Cassie, Jennie, and Jimmie. She is preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Cassity. Services will be at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. Mickey Stinnett officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Bearers will be Paul Locker, Steve House, Logan House, Jim Creech, Ashley Moss, Archie Barnes, Mike Johns and Jeff Carroll. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Monday, January 15, 2024, at the funeral home. Betts & West Funeral Home is honored to serve Ann and the Peel family.
