Alice Frances Brandenburg

March 22, 1925 — September 28, 2009

Alice Frances Brandenburg, 84, widow of Carl Stanley -Bud- Brandenburg, and formerly of Nicholasville, died September 28, 2009. She was the daughter of the late Marshall and Nora Faust, and a member of the Clear Creek Baptist Church. She married on October 19, 1946. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother and she will be deeply missed.

Survivors include her daughter, Peggy Sherman, her son-in-law, Peter Sherman, her grandchildren, Michael, Samuel and Alyssa Sherman, all of Atlanta, GA, a sister, Hazel Foster and a nephew, Ronald Foster, both of Greensboro, GA, two sisters-in-law, Eugenia Holman of Sebring, FL and Nellie Lee Wash of Versailles, and other family members.

Services will be 2:00pm Saturday at Betts & West Funeral Home. Burial will follow in

Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 until 8:00 pm

at the funeral home. Bearers will be Jean Brandenburg,James Walton, Cliff Eddleman, Ronald Foster, Phillip Holman, Peter Sherman, Vernon Wash, and Michael and Samuel
