Albert W. Helton Sr.

Albert W. Helton Sr., 78, husband of June Estridge Helton, died Sunday, March 13, 2011 after a brief illness. He was retired from CGR Medical Corporation and was a Marine Veteran of the Korean War. He was the son of the late Albert and Lelan Johnson Helton. Survivors are three children, Star (Donald) Anderson of Nicholasville, Albert W. (Ruth) Helton Jr. of St. Louis, MO, Jerry D. (Tiffany) Helton of Nicholasville, grandchildren, Jon (Jeni) Anderson, Laura (Matt) Kelly, Carrie and Jeremy Helton, great grandchildren, McKenzie and Hunter Anderson, sister, Flo Barnett and a sister in law, Nell Menton. He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Timothy Anderson. Services will be 11:00am Thursday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Lucian Estridge officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 until 9:00pm at the funeral home. Family and friends will serve as bearers.
